This Season it is all about the Sombre, the Bronde and the Marylebone Gloss.
The Sombre is an evolution of the dip dye and the ombre. It is a “subtle ombre” (S(ubtle) Ombre) where the contrast between the darker and lighter shade of the colour is more subtle and blended altogether. As ever the new trend started on the Holloywood Red Carpet as recently sported by Jennifer Garner, our co-founder Laetitia and our lovely client Eleni who is posing with Pierre Doumit our co-founder and Creative Director.
Instead of using highlights or a traditional colour technique we at Leticia Haute Coiffure are using a balayage technique to apply the lighter shade of colour for a more natural result.
The Second Trend for this Autumn Winter is the Bronde aka Blonde + Brunette. In the similar fashion that the ombre the Bronde uses contrasting darker and lighter shade of a same colour but as opposed to the Ombre the contrast is throughout the length of the hair from the roots to the end of the hair strand. The Bronde is part of the signature colour of Sarah Jessica Parker and has recently by spotted on Beyoncé in her shoot for Carine Roitfeld Fashion Book. More (SJP) or less (Beyoncé) contrast can be achieved depending on the desired look.
Last but not least, my ultimate trend for Autumn Winter is the Marylebone Gloss. Using the Cellophane range from Sebastien we apply a super shiny gloss to the hair with our without pigments for a mirror shine result. Ideal on virgin hair to embellish natural colour or between colours appointments to intensify the pigments of the colour without any retouch.
